Peace & Quiet
A Day at the Farm
The farm has always been a mystery to me and I’ve spent years trying to untangle that elusive feeling. With its ancient oak trees, wild birds, deer wandering through the hills and gardens, what makes this place special?
At first, I wondered if the Native Americans who once walked this valley had left some spiritual imprint on the land. Some blessing that still lingers.
Or perhaps it was simply nature itself that created this feeling of serenity. Like standing in God’s own cathedral under the blue sky.
But then I realized that there is a particular beauty in simple things, all tumbled together, that had created something extraordinary. A place where I really didn’t need to change anything or even understand it.
It has been enough just to watch it unfold. Swarms of dragonflies near the creek. Hawks calling as they circle above the back hills. The breeze. Everything here is always changing, and the idea of what is beautiful changes with the seasons.
Now that we are open to the public I want to share this beauty. I watch how this place moves our visitors. I watch them arrive carrying the weight of their busy lives. Slowly, they begin to wander the farm. They pause beneath the trees. Something softens. It’s as though the land gently reminds them there is another way to move through the world.
That feeling of tranquility is why I created Sunday Soul and the belief that a feeling or a moment can also be beautiful.
Sunday Soul was designed to put our phones away and look at one another. A place where there is nowhere to rush off to. Where you don’t have to explain yourself.
Here, with the rolling foothills in the distance, surrounded by nature, chickens clucking nearby, insects humming, and the quiet rhythm of life unfolding all around us, the farm becomes a sanctuary where you can relax.
One day to pause and do what makes you happy, gather with other women, share delicious food, spark meaningful conversations, tell stories, and make new friends.
To join Sunday Soul, plan on September 20th, 9-4
I will send more details when you register Sunday Soul
See you soon
